“In short, you failed?” Bai Meiyue offered in a soft voice, and Dacheng’s expression changed slightly. He shook his head before stating firmly, “I didn’t fail. There were some slight hitches, but we cannot count them as a failure. We have taken most of the safe zone under our control. At most, we just need to deal with Bai Feng.”

“And you think that you can deal with Bai Feng?” Bai Meiyue questioned with a soft curl of her lips. “Do you think that Bai Feng is like those little bosses you dealt with last night? If he were that easy to kill, then Yu Miaomiao wouldn’t have run to hide under his care.”

“I know this. That’s why I came here.” Dacheng knew that he and the rest of the ability users could not deal with Bai Feng. He looked at Bai Meiyue solemnly. “We should deal with Bai Feng in the first strike. It will be better for us to kill him first before he makes a move, or else we will end up in a compromising situation.”

“Be the first to kill him?” Bai Meiyue snorted. The expression on her face turned stern, and she glanced at Dacheng before saying to him, “Dacheng, how many lives are you going to take before you can finally reach your goal? Did you even sit down and count the number of people who died last night?”

Bai Meiyue did agree that Yu Miaomiao needed to be killed, and if they didn’t make a move, then Yu Miaomiao would certainly make a move first with that idiot Bai Feng. As for Dacheng, Lu Yin and Chief Lin, that woman would certainly kill them for betraying her. Thus, even if Bai Meiyue didn’t like it, she and Dacheng were in the same situation.

If they didn’t support one another, then the boat was destined to sink, and they all would die at the same time.
