Chapter 696: A Sh**ty Revenge (II)
Bai Xue felt enraged. When she thought about how her parents had let her down again and again to the point where she had no other choice but to rely on others. If they had done a better job, if they had tried some more, then nothing like this would have happened to her.

“How do you think I am feeling, Mom? You and Dad could have gone out and hunted zombies, but none of you did. Not once did you think about me, leaving me in a situation where I had no choice but to look for support from others. If you had taken care of me, then do you think that I would have lowered myself like this?” Bai Xue could not help but complain. Even now, she didn’t think that there was anything wrong with what she did. She only blamed her parents, especially her mother, for not doing anything for her.

Didn’t her mother say that she loved her? Then why did she not help her? Why did she not fight the zombies for her? Did she even care? She had been starving for days! For days, she couldn’t eat or drink well. If her parents had taken on their responsibility properly, then would she have done such a thing? Of course not. Now that her life was in danger, it wasn’t because she was foolish. It was because her parents didn’t work hard to give her the life that she deserved!

Chu Xia looked at the tears in the eyes of her daughter, and her heart softened. She slowly sat down next to her and took her hand into her own. “Xue’er, how can you think like that? If your mother could have done that, then she would have definitely fought with those zombies for you, but I am just a commoner with no positive skills. How can I fight zombies? But don’t worry, your mother will think of a way to get you whatever you want.”

A cruel glint flashed in her eyes. All these days, she had been thinking of dealing with Bai Qingshi and the matter of bringing peace to her daughter. She never thought that she would one day have such thoughts, but honestly, who could Bai Qingshi blame if not himself?

Bai Qingshi had no idea that his wife was planning a bloody revenge on him. Once he finished his meal, he got up from the sofa and then went to the bedroom to sleep. But he had no idea that while he lay down to sleep, a pair of eyes was staring at him.

The weasel that had been hired by Bai Meiyue stared at the man and rubbed his paws together. He clicked his tongue in annoyance, as this man had been hiding way too well in this place. For two hours, he had been peeking through the vents of this apartment and couldn’t find this man. Finally, he caught him.

The weasel looked at the sleeping man and then turned to look around the room. He rummaged through every nook and cranny and soon found the crystal nuclei that Bai Qingshi had hidden along with the water and food. He, with the help of his underlings, moved the entire thing out of the room. While Bai Qingshi was sleeping, he had no idea that his little fortune had been moved.

Once the little wealth was moved, the weasel returned to the bedroom where Bai Qingshi was sleeping. His little black eyes moved around a little. And he turned to look at his underlings before whispering something into their ears.

“AHHHH!!!”

The next morning, when the sun hadn’t even broken through the horizon, a mournful scream echoed throughout the entire safe zone that was under Bai Feng’s control. When the scream resounded through the safe zone, Bai Feng was having a meeting with his team. He frowned upon hearing the familiar voice, and after some hesitation, he strode out of the room and headed upstairs. However, as soon as he arrived at the small apartment where the Bai family lived, he smelled a stench that made him retch.

“What’s going on? Did your family turn an entire tub of fertiliser upside down?” Li Jingguo asked Bai Feng as he covered his nose with his hand and stepped back. He was certain the scent that was coming out of the Bai family house was the same scent that he had smelled at the pig farm of his uncle.

Bai Feng was also confused. As far as he knew, Chu Xia and Bai Qingshi were people who loved cleanliness. There was no way they would ever do something like scattering the fertiliser over a vegetable patch or something of the sort. He was about to open the door and see what was going on when the door was pulled open on its own. As soon as the door opened with a swish, the stench got even harsher.

Bai Feng and Li Jingguo especially got the worst blow of their life because their senses were better than normal human beings. This stench was something that even normal people would not be able to bear, so how could they bear it? The two stepped away from the entrance of the apartment just as Chu Xi and Bai Xue ran out.

The two of them were covered in poop from head to toe, but the one who had it the worst was none other than Bai Qingshi. Whoever was behind this wanted to disgust Bai Qingshi to death because they actually pooped in his mouth!

“AHHH!!! HELP ME!!” Bai Qingshi was choking on the waste that had been released inside his mouth. He staggered and vomited, but the more he vomited, the more he choked; it was a vicious cycle. “BAI FENG, HELP ME.”

Bai Feng turned pale when he saw the sight in front of him. Looking at the sight in front of him, he was thoroughly disgusted. Could anyone tell him why his father was covered in poo?
