“Yeah, it’s done. I gave him a pill to keep him unconscious. It will reduce the amount of pain he experiences and I think it’s better for his recovery if his body is in a state of rest.” Chu Miao explained before anyone started asking questions about why the president was unconscious again.

“When will the president wake up?” It was the middle-aged woman who asked.

This was the first time she had opened her mouth to talk but one could tell that she was genuinely worried about the president.

The worry in her eyes and anxiety couldn’t be faked.

The others also trained their eyes at Chu Miao as if waiting for a sentence to be passed.

“If his recovery is fast, he should wake up by tomorrow morning, if it is slow, then we will have to wait until tomorrow afternoon.” It was already evening, so waiting until the next morning wasn’t really a long time, but for the worried family members and leaders, it felt like eternity.

They understood that this time they were also on a mission to protect the country and couldn’t joke about it.
