1670: Recovering with Family 1670: Recovering with Family At this time, a certain family from Yasof Village was going around.

Yassop was smiling brightly.

He was guided by his daughter and grandson, both of whom were completely different people from before they were sent here.

As a courtesy, he also received a summary from their mind doctor, Lady Juliet, about their states and how to maintain them.

He also hoped the two would slowly be accustomed to being happy without external factors.

After all, those external factors would likely be dependent on Alterra.

How could he lure them back to his own Village, in good conscience, if that was the case?

It was still such a new thing to him.

Was she a psychic?

Mind doctor- or psychologist, as they called her- was really an amazing and mysterious profession.

Anyway, Doctor Juliet said that the two’s progress was relatively stable and they could, in fact, be taken back home if they wished.

This was provided that they would come to this conclusion on their own, or at least be gently convinced to do so.

Forcing them when they look uncomfortable would definitely get counterproductive.  This was the reason he came here in person.

But most of all, he missed them very much.

Family was supposed to be together, after all.

He also hoped to train Yanno to become the heir as soon as possible.

He would go little by little in order not to shock him, and this was why they should start early.

But seeing them so happily while they were bringing him around the territory, as they took him to the parks, to the markets, and various attractions, he suddenly couldn’t bring himself to open the topic.

“Grandpa!

Let’s watch ‘Greenie’s Clues’!” his grandson said as he pulled him to one of the theaters.

It was a story about a young boy and his dog (one of their battlepets), solving mysteries together.

It was one of the stories children seemed to like, seeing as a good portion of the audience were kids, and those who weren’t were accompanying kids.

Yassop smiled.

“Of course,” he said, silently coming to a decision on his own.

Well, these two suffered for so many years.

He could let them be carefree for a bit longer than that.

… Other people also went on with their lives, though others had very good milestones to celebrate.

For instance, Salia, Sean’s sister, had finally given birth!

She had given birth at midnight, and her husband stayed by her the whole time.

His mother, on the other hand, couldn’t help but nag.

“A full 18 hours of labor!

Is the baby alright?” she yelled.

“This is why you shouldn’t go outside when you’re going to give birth.” She was definitely attacking the fact that Salia was still working even when her stomach was so heavy.

Philip gasped.

“Mother!!” He didn’t know if it was out of concern or mockery (it was likely the latter), but her tone was definitely not comforting.

Petra gasped to hear her son yell at her.

“You-” She had been irksome for months!

After all, all her son did was take care of his wife, prioritize her, when he had a mother!  Before she could nag them, a figure appeared, tall and dashing, especially in the uniform every Alterran admired and maybe even sought after.

This was Sean, of course.

“Let my sister rest,” he said, voice more baritone than usual, and releasing an aura the lazy old woman definitely could not handle.

The woman tutted and stepped back, glaring at her son and his wife.

“You two had better return home soon!”  “Thank you,” Salia said with a weak smile.

She then saw a pretty girl with short pink hair walking behind her brother, and her eyebrows rose.

“Oh, who is this?” “This is Veronica,” Sean said.

“I bumped into her and she decided to visit when she found out about your birth.” Veronica smiled prettily.

“Hello, there,” she said.

“As Sean said, you are quite beautiful.

Veronica had taken a job or a business in Alterra as a stylist.

It was still new, and she only had 2 clients, but it was getting better.

There were also more and more parties and private balls held by rich Alterrans, so it wasn’t like her services weren’t needed.

Of course, she still had a lot to learn, especially since the Terrans had slightly different sensibilities than hers.

She was also quite fashionable in her own culture, so her learning both styles was the most effective way to melsh the two practices, creating a wonderful combination.

She also worked as the liaison for deals between her hometown and Alterra.

Her family also had their own merchant caravan (they had an industry, too, after all), and she would get a commission for every exchange that happened.

Through her, Alterra also received an ample amount of beurch stone.

And through her, her hometown received ample amounts of Alterran products.

Because her contribution points were high (especially after the Bleulle Rescue mission), she was also able to increase the purchase limit set for her town by a lot.

They did have to divide the bulk and go through a few subsidiaries and exchange hands there, lest they received some unwanted attention.

In any case, the money she received here, even when she was commissioning, was huge.

At this point, her makeover business was just a passion project, despite earning quite a bit itself.

She rented out a small office in one of the shop houses.

She got lucky and managed to secure it, unlike Olga and the rest, who needed a slightly bigger space.

She was in her office when, through the window looking out to the streets, she saw Sean.

Without realizing it, she had already called out to him.

She found out he was heading to the hospital, and somehow…she ended up coming with him.

“I see…” Salia said, pausing, holding back a knowing smile.

“Well, it is so good to meet you.” Then she giggled, uttering words that made the two blush in sync.

“My brother finally introduced a woman to me,” she said.

“How happy~” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS NispedanaSan Sean x Veronica.

What pair name?

xD
