- Chapter 1669 - 1669 Elron and the Golds
1669: Elron and the Golds 1669: Elron and the Golds The Town…was beyond expectation.
The family of three stared, wondering if they were really in a Level 1 Town that had literally just upgraded.
Yassop and the others chuckled when they saw their reactions, some even felt superior before they saw this before townsfolk did.
It was like they didn’t look exactly the same a few weeks back.
Yassop patted his shoulder.
“Do you need help?” Elron shook his head with a polite smile.
“I received an instruction,” he said, and the Yasof Village party said their goodbyes, heading their way.
Elron looked at his family and they headed to the information desk at the entrance plaza.
It was a concierge next to the gates, and very easy to find because of the large signage overhead.
This was where newbies could ask directions, and there were usually guides camped over there as well.
Kalfene told him to find a guide and just tell them that he was looking for him.
For a small amount of money, they could be chauffeured straight to his dorms, which was exactly what happened. Time ran fast during the trip because they were observing everything they could as their cart passed by.
To be frank, if they weren’t headed somewhere, they’d have been perfectly willing to go around aimlessly for a couple more hours.
They easily put that aside though, because they arrived at their destination soon enough.
It was a neighborhood filled with gardens and open spaces.
Even the fences were pretty, with some covered in vines, some with crawling flowers.
Their destination was a large villa with beautiful gardens.
Even outside the walls, they could see the crawling vines and the lush trees beyond them.
Surprisingly, the person who went out the gates was not Kalfene, but one of the Golds.
“Elron!” “Masters!” Elron gasped, unconsciously doing a deep salute, and his family followed him. Gaia shook her head.
“No need for such heavy greetings anymore, Elron,” she said, looking at the people next to him.
“This must be your family.” Elron nodded.
“Yes, masters, this is my wife Lisa, and my son, Bon.
He is nine years old this year.” “Marvelous,” Gaia said, handing something to the boy, who blankly took it.
He was taught not to mingle too closely with strangers, though, so he checked his mother, who nodded. Only then did the boy place it in his mouth, and his eyes sparkled.
“SWEET!” he gasped, and then Gaia laughed, giving him another.
Elron and his wife felt embarrassed, but they also couldn’t bear to dampen the boy’s mood.
It had been a while since he looked so happy, after all.
So all they could do was thank Lady Gaia.
The woman waved her hand.
“We’re so glad you’re here.
We prepared one of the rooms in the dorms for you.” One of the Golds’ villas was dedicated to the servants and other helpers to use, including the toolmakers.
They could then use it while they saved up and eventually move out on their own.
The room they were occupying was next to Kalfene’s and Sleuth’s rooms.
It was one of the maids who helped them out, though they were flattered to see Lady Gaia was still facilitating everything.
“Please rest for a while, Kalfene’s working hours are still a couple of hours away.” They nodded, and the mother and son went ahead first, while Elron remained.
“Lady Gaia,” he said.
“I also came here to finish that task you sent me.” He then took something out of his space.
It was a Class B Weapon that Gaia commissioned a while back.
It cost a whopping 2000 Gold.
It was a sword, and was designed to have great penetration capabilities.
Elron went to another City to commission this.
Oslo looked over, curious.
It was a thin sword.
Perfect for him.
Elron saw his look and gave a small smile.
“The Lady asked me to pick it up as a gift for you until… that happened.
I just kept it, unused all this time.” Gaia’s eyebrows rose, pleasantly surprised.
She had actually forgotten about this.
“Good, good.
Thank you for this.” … Shortly after Elron’s, the first batch of Northern allies also arrived.
This included Lord Baltheo of Guardian Village.
They all underwent what was now known as the ‘Alterra Entrance Effect’, which was divided into a few stages: be cynical, gape in shock, be in a daze, and finally, excitement.
Baltheo himself was the fastest to reach the latest stage, and he looked at his people who had been nagging him the entire way there.
“You still think we’re being fooled?” “…” Now, they were embarrassed.
No, humiliated, for having doubts in the first place.
After all, compared to Alterra, they really had nothing to offer!
…
As usual, the Lords headed straight to the Town Center while the rest headed out to explore.
Seeing their people excited to go around, the Lords could only hope that they’d return home with at least the same number of people who left.
Miss Mathilda, as always, led the alliance ceremony, and shortly after that, Alterra gained another ally, and a few more points of prestige. Althea looked at her stats. [TERRITORY STATS Status: Level 1 Town Area: 28,270,000 square meters Residents: 23985 (7712 permanent, 16273 temporary) Total Population: 89124 Base Resources: Wood: 29100/40000 Stone: 28320/30000 Money: 149951 Gold, 519919 Silver, 7899909 copper Prestige: 2300 Buildings: Village Center (Lv3) , Weaponry Shop (Lv3), Defensive Wall (Lv5), Warehouse (Lv4), Farm (Lv3), Training Hall (Lv4), BathHouse (Lv2), Prison (Lv2), Post Office (Lv1), Pharmacy (Lv1) Bonus Building: Custom Buildingx3, Armory (Lv3), Restaurant (Lv3), Special Torch (Lv1), Well (Lv3), Barracks (Lv3) Custom Aether Buildings: Library (Lv1), Lighthouse Watchtower (Lv1), Hospital (Lv1) Building Slots: 10/11 (+11)] Looking at this now, even if they didn’t do so many extreme things, adding allies and subsidiaries also added a few points of prestige.
It was also a decent way to gather prestige, though he wondered if it was a fixed number for each alliance.
Regardless, they were planning on maximizing the synergy between the territories.
Only in this way could they truly hold strong against the enemies that surrounded their people!
CREATORS’ THOUGHTS NispedanaSan Thanks, Alterrans!
For still being here~!
