Tamasya spoke with a smile as she handed the rough parchment on which she had written the technique.

The parchment itself looked old, not because of decay, but because it had been rewritten, revised, and scratched over countless times.

Dark ink layered upon older strokes, and several sections were clearly rewritten with sharper precision, as if she had refined certain ideas while leaving others deliberately unfinished.

It did not feel like a polished technique.

Instead, it felt like a living technique, something still evolving alongside its creator.

Will accepted it carefully, his fingers brushing against the surface as he scanned the writing instinctively. He did not try to understand it immediately.

He smiled sincerely and bowed to her.

Her tone was casual, but Will could tell that the matter was not insignificant. He hesitated for a moment before voicing the concern that had been lingering in his mind for days.

Tamasya turned back toward him and smiled faintly.

“those gods are outsiders, they cannot simply pry their senses into the World, and so they cannot sense me, even last time it was the natives of this world who had betrayed me, and held a ritual to summon those gods to obstruct my ascension”

Her voice remained steady as she spoke, but there was a sharp edge beneath the calm.

“now, I will eventually kill those people, but before that I need to gather allies, and that is why I am going where I am going so don’t worry”

As she finished speaking, her silhouette began to fade, dissolving into the surrounding shadows as naturally as smoke dispersing in air.

Will watched quietly.

He already knew how she was traveling. It was the same path she had used to bring him to the floating island. The shadows themselves responded to her presence.
